You will meet in Paris and get on a charter flight to Svalbard, to one of the northernmost settlements in the world — Longyearbyen. Upon arrival, you’ll board the luxurious Le Commandant-Charcot ship with an indoor pool and spa area, two restaurants, a panoramic bar, and a library. Throughout the entire trip you will be surrounded with comfort and care.
Today you’ll explore the coast of Svalbard on the Zodiac boats. You’ll land on the most picturesque places of the coast to enjoy views of the endless arctic tundra, fjords, and giant glaciers. You’ll be able to take many amazing wildlife photos and even see polar bears in the middle of the Arctic wilderness.
The few following days you’ll spend on board the ship, moving further and further north. The transition time is highly dependent on the ice conditions and can take up to 8 days. On the way, you’ll be able to enjoy amazing landscapes of the Arctic — vast sea expanses, giant heaps of ice, and single icebergs floating in the water.
Today you’ll continue your journey to the top of the world — the North Pole. Le Commandant-Charcot icebreaker has everything you need to keep you entertained. You can visit the gym or get a massage, spend time in the pool surrounded by a winter garden or participate in events organized by the team.
You are getting closer — if the weather does not interfere with your plans, then in a couple of days the icebreaker will reach the destination.
You are approaching the North Pole — one of the most inaccessible points on Earth, where the Arctic Ocean is almost constantly covered with a thick layer of centuries-old ice.
The final push — through the cold Arctic waters and snow-white icebergs, the ship approaches the top of the planet, while you are enjoying a relaxing massage and a hot sauna.
Finally, you are at the northernmost point of the Earth! Very few people manage to visit such remote corners of our planet. In summer, the sun does not set below the horizon at all, and you will spend the whole day enjoying the majestic sceneries of the Arctic. The weather in summer here is quite nice for outdoor activities — it is often sunny, and the temperature rises to +5 °C. You will have time to take plenty of pictures and cruise on maneuverable Zodiacs around the lagoons.
Today you begin your return journey, but many memorable experiences still lie ahead. The icebreaker crew will brighten your long voyage through the harsh Arctic expanse with engaging lectures and presentations about the nature of this frozen corner of the Earth.
You’ll spend the next few days on board as the luxurious ship carries you toward the shores of Svalbard. A full range of amenities is at your disposal — bars and restaurants, lounge areas, a swimming pool, fitness center, beauty salon, and library.
This long passage through the Arctic Ocean is a perfect opportunity to exchange impressions and photos from the journey with your fellow travelers.
Another day surrounded by Arctic silence and snowy landscapes. The icebreaker steadily makes its way through ridges and dense ice. The crew continues to share their knowledge, offering insights into science, the history of polar exploration, and life in these extreme regions.
The voyage continues. Outside the windows — mesmerizing views, vast ice fields, flocks of seabirds, and perhaps even marine mammals. In the evening — reflections on the journey and informal conversations with the crew.
We reach the shores of Svalbard — an archipelago where raw northern nature meets the history of Arctic exploration. Snow-covered cliffs, glaciers, and seabird colonies — this is a true realm of wildlife.
We continue exploring the islands of the archipelago. Each day, Svalbard reveals new faces — from towering ice walls to quiet bays with walrus haul-outs. With some luck, you may spot polar bears, whales, or Arctic reindeer.

The expedition will take place on board luxury Le Commandant-Charcot icebreaking ship.
Le Commandant-Charcot is equipped with a hybrid engine that combines the use of liquefied natural gas and electric generators, which minimizes the impact of tourist cruises on the nature of remote regions.
The design work of the vessel was carried out by two world-renowned architectural companies — the studios of Jean-Philippe Nuel and Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Here, a modern approach is combined with a desire to create a warm and sophisticated environment. Natural materials (stone, wood and leather) used in the interior echo the wildlife overboard.
With 135 cabins, including 31 suites with panoramic balconies, Le Commandant-Charcot invites you to experience a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. You’ll enjoy the exquisite cuisine of two restaurants, swimming in the indoor pool surrounded by a winter garden or relaxing in the spa area with a sauna.
Like on a private yacht, every guest will feel special here.
