Georgia is its people! Open, hospitable, warm-hearted, and full of life and joy. It was especially wonderful that our group turned out to be so similar in spirit, led by the SUPER guide Denis.
Georgia is its Mountains — incredibly beautiful, majestic, harsh, untamed, yet always irresistibly captivating! They touch you so deeply it almost hurts in your chest. The strongest impression was the high-mountain village of Ushguli: the monastery walls on the hill with its guardian — a formidable Caucasian Shepherd dog wandering around, big snowflakes falling, knee-deep snowdrifts, and only kind and majestic Alabai dogs, horses, and cows strolling along the streets. Georgia is Svaneti — a high-mountain region with its own people, the Svans, authentic culture, ancient history, and the towering peaks of Shkhara and Ushba. I left a little piece of my heart in Mestia, and I definitely want to return.
Georgia is Love. Love for its history, traditions and culture, for its ancestors and family, for its land and its beauties, for its guests and delicious food, for heartfelt feasts and wine.
Georgia, I’m not saying goodbye!
I highly recommend not missing Georgia when choosing your next tour.
