Our trip to Kyrgyzstan with guide Anatoly was simply wonderful! Everything went perfectly.
Beautiful locations, and Anatoly, a truly insightful, warm, attentive, and sensitive guide. Everything was perfectly organized, with not a moment's delay. Anatoly was very attentive, calm, and sincere with each group member. Daniyar and Alexander were wonderful drivers. We saw so many interesting locations, went on a hike, swam in hot springs and in Issyk-Kul, rode horses, and kayaked. Basically, we had it all.
As for the food, it's impossible to describe. We tried all the national dishes and fantastic lamb. We met so many locals. And, of course, our wonderful group. Everyone became friends, and it was wonderful! Thanks to Strannik, Anatoly, and Kyrgyzstan!
A wonderful itinerary that includes mountains, lakes, a hike, yurts, a short kayaking trip, a museum, and delicious national food! Everything was dynamic, active, and delicious! The organization was excellent, with no hitches or expectations, which I really appreciate, knowing how difficult it is to organize everything at such a well-coordinated pace and rhythm!
Special thanks to Anatoly! After all, a trip and a country are made by the people who greet you there! Tolya is a patriot of his country, who knows the history, nature, and traditions perfectly… I think he knows everything about Kyrgyzstan! He's an excellent guide! His tour of the N.M. Przhevalsky Museum touched me deeply! And, of course, a big thank you to our drivers, Daniyar and Alexander, for their careful and safe driving on Kyrgyzstan's challenging roads. I recommend this tour to everyone!
It's been two weeks since I returned from a magical and unforgettable tour of Kyrgyzstan—a land of beautiful mountains (it turns out every mountain in the Tien Shan is different) and pristine lakes. The emotions have subsided, and I'm left with the pure joy of having been there.
The weather was fantastic, and I didn't need warm clothes. We were incredibly lucky with our team! However, for Wanderer, this is more the rule than the exception. All the Wanderers are on the same wavelength. Our guide, Ksenia, is beyond praise, with excellent, correct Russian and a broad general knowledge (she studied every bird and flower, not just the geography, history, and traditions of the country and its people). We compiled a dictionary of local dishes (the tour was truly gastronomic; we tried something new and delicious every day). We saw even more than the program promised, and our caring Ksyusha fulfilled every wish, like a mother to children. It was so nice that I remembered another such caring mom at Strannik – Anna Sheremetyeva (our guide in Adygea).
We also had a wonderful, responsive, caring, simply awesome driver, Valery (there are no roads in Kyrgyzstan, only directions), and he and Ksyusha were such a great tandem, a huge thank you! Do you want to go for an evening swim in Son-Kul? Ksyusha will organize it, and Valery will take you to a wonderful spot. Do you want to swim in Issyk-Kul at sunset? Let's go! Unforgettable adventures. Thanks to our entire team and the guide who created this unforgettable route. Strannik is forever!
