Overall, the trip can be described as an emotional intensive. Very diverse—from the unfamiliar Chinese megacities with their bright colors to the amazing natural beauty. And every time it was "wow"! And the stairs, the stairs... The cardio load was great, but it fades into the background when you reach the goal. So many impressions. Everything was interesting, including pea ice cream, the strict inspection procedures in Beijing, and the high-speed trains. Authentic (a favorite word of our guide, Veronika), there's no better way to describe it. It’s unlikely that anyone could independently cover such a vast array of China's best-known attractions in one trip. A completely new perspective on the Chinese people and the country.
Many thanks to our guide Veronika. She supported us professionally and made a great effort, which was appreciated. The hotels were good. In early September, you need to be prepared for hot summer weather. The trekking poles weren’t needed.
