Our guide, Dana, showed us the best side of Armenia, sharing its history without overloading us with dates and numbers. Instead, we uncovered the soul of the country through meetings and connections with fascinating people, and walks along the old streets of Gyumri and Dilijan. The walks around Dilijan offered breathtaking views of forests, meadows, and the snow-capped peaks of nearby mountains, along with the purest air. A wonderful, childhood-like feeling of joy and delight fills you in places like this. Even the large number of ancient monasteries - Armenia's main sights - became an integral part of the landscape and the country's history. And they weren't tiring at all. The trip left us with the most pleasant impressions. One thing worth noting is that older people or those with joint issues shouldn't just take the word of young, physically fit guides when they say a walk is easy and on a flat road. You do have to walk uphill, scramble over rocks, and go down slopes. This shouldn't stop you; you just need to be prepared for certain difficulties. Armenia's nature deserves pure admiration.
I heartily recommend this tour to everyone. The "Best of Armenia" tour is well-paced: city locations alternate with moderate hiking. Deep gratitude to the Strannik club and our guide, Dana.
I really loved the ethno-tour to Uzbekistan. The well-structured program allowed us to enjoy historical and cultural sights, natural beauty, culinary traditions, and exotic adventures. A wide variety of activities made the trip exciting, memorable, and never boring.
I would especially like to mention our guide, Tatyana - not only for her attentive guidance along the route, but also for her amazing stories about all the places we visited, the country's history, and its cultural and everyday traditions.
The trip to Khiva, the most unique and authentic city on the itinerary, was also impressive. We got lucky with the guide there too - thanks to Mavlyuda for an interesting tour. From an organizational standpoint, everything was precise and on time; the Strannik team was always in touch. So you could truly relax and enjoy the trip.
It was very interesting and really enjoyable that we visited so many monasteries and had such a rich, packed program! Every day was filled with so many important and beautiful things! The accommodation was good everywhere, and the transport was comfortable!
Dmitry tried very hard, kept an eye on the whole group to make sure everyone was in place and received attention, so a huge thank you to him! It was a wonderful trip — though it was hard to breathe, but that’s not something for the tour organizers. Overall, we really liked everything, it was fantastic!
Good afternoon! This was our first time traveling with you. I’d like to say right away that this format of vacation isn’t quite our style).
The program was rich and varied. It’s nice that the cities didn’t all blend together in our memories — there were refreshing breaks filled with natural beauty.
I especially want to highlight the guide’s work. It was a pleasure to listen to her stories — everything was very interesting, well-presented, and intelligent. It’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does. On top of that, she was very responsive and attentive. We believe that many of our pleasant impressions are thanks to her.
We wish you enthusiastic guides and pleasant tourists. Thank you!
