My heartfelt thanks to Strannik for organizing the amazing Best of Japan in 10 Days tour. The program was so interesting and full, the guides and fellow travelers were wonderful, and we had perfect weather throughout the whole journey. Every single detail, from arrival to departure, brought me so much joy! The emotions are still overwhelming, it’s hard to put into words how deeply this trip impressed me.
I want to give special thanks for the detailed consultation about the tour, the help with purchasing airline tickets, the late-evening time you personally spent assisting with hotel bookings, your patience, and your professional, respectful attitude toward travelers – that is truly priceless. My deepest respect to such a professional as Maria Pospelova! She knows her work inside and out, day and night, is always in touch, always ready to answer, explain, and lay everything out clearly. Thank you so much for your patience and for the wonderful way you work with travelers!
Travelling with Strannik, as always, was absolutely top-notch. Great guides, fantastic Kamchatka, and a super-packed program! This adventure had everything one could possibly wish for. In just 12 days we managed to fit in what seemed impossible: volcanoes, a sea trip, hot springs, camping. The geography of our travels was vast, yet everything ran like clockwork. Long drives never felt tiring when you’re accompanied by true professionals. The highlight of the trip was Avachinsky volcano, and we were incredibly lucky with the weather that day. Many thanks to Dima and Denis!
Strannik means beautiful, interesting routes, safety, and delicious food! A special thank-you to our driver Alexey, who accompanied us for most of the trip – we felt completely safe with him on the roads. Our guide Yulia, who shared Altai with us, was delightful in every way – fun, engaging, full of love for her homeland. She would explain, help, push the boat if needed – a true goddess of the road, calmness, and support. Everything from the club was well-organized and comfortable. The vehicles were powerful, never once stuck or broken down, always clean inside. I even learned to respect the ZIL truck! Accommodation – waking up every day to such views, drinking coffee on the veranda with mountains all around – now just a dream. The rafting was wonderful: don’t hesitate, even beginners shouldn’t be afraid. It’s an experience for all ages, and even rain is not a problem – just prepare the right clothes and an action camera.
As for food – don’t expect to go hungry! A whole pack of gingerbread I bought came back home untouched. If you’re doubting whether to go – don’t. Altai like this is something you won’t just see on your own. I was enchanted. Thanks to the club, to Yulia, and to our wonderful group.
I found it incredibly interesting – Altai is an amazing region, and it was wonderful to be guided there by such competent people. Nothing distracted us from enjoying the journey – we could just walk, ride, look around, and admire. The Chuya Highway and the Uymon Valley are endlessly beautiful places. I’m already thinking that maybe I should spend an entire summer here.
