A wonderful tour to get to know Lake Baikal. We traveled around most, if not all, of Baikal, and now we can choose where to vacation next time (the mainland or the island, the Buryat or Irkutsk side, places with more crowds or quieter spots, etc.). Amazing views, interesting history, and captivating stories from the guides left us with nothing but positive emotions and impressions, as well as a strong desire to visit Baikal in the winter. Even the museums, which I had previously underestimated (I used to think, 'what could possibly be interesting in a museum?!'), like the Baikal Museum in Listvyanka and 'Taltsy,' easily changed my mind. Our entire group unanimously agreed that 1,5 hours for the 'Taltsy' museum tour was way too short. We spent the whole hour and a half with the guide and wanted more, despite the wind and rain. Our group of travelers was organized and punctual throughout the whole tour, but at this museum, we collectively ran 10-20 minutes late returning to the driver, and we feel no shame about it!))
The organization was top-notch. From the moment I met the guide, I stopped worrying about thinking or planning. I simply moved from point A to point B according to the itinerary and admired the beauty of Baikal. They helped with loading and unloading luggage during transfers. During check-ins and hotel stays, they always asked if everything was fine or if we had any requests. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners offered great variety, large portions, and were filling and delicious. For me, a big plus was staying in small, mostly wooden hotel cabins. It felt very atmospheric and cozy.
I want to express special gratitude and respect to our guides, who truly live and breathe Baikal! Their stories and actions reflect love, care, and respect for Baikal, its nature, animals, people, and history. The guides were available at every stage of the tour, answering our questions and giving advice on how to spend our free time - what to do, what to see - even accompanying us fully. Thank you to the Strannik club for the birthday wishes and gifts! It was unexpected and very sweet! And thank you for a wonderful 11 days on Lake Baikal!
The itinerary is wonderful and perfectly well-thought-out; every single part of it is a treasure! It was lovely to walk around Tbilisi with Irina. And during the trekking part of the route, each new day became more exciting! The nature of Svaneti is incredibly beautiful beyond words! We hiked along mountain trails, gazed at snowy peaks and blooming slopes, glaciers and waterfalls, conquered a mountain pass, encountered ancient temples and traditional villages along the way, listened to stories about their past, and observed their life. We also visited the stunning Mikhail Khergiani Museum in Mestia and learned the story of this amazing person. Walking the trail myself gave me a much deeper and more authentic sense of immersion into the country's culture and nature than if I had simply driven through by car. I left with a strong desire to repeat this experience!
This is my second trip with Strannik. I had high hopes for it and was not disappointed. These ten days were filled with a great, diverse experience of discovering a beautiful country and immersing myself in nature that took my breath away with its beauty. Having walked the mountain trails with my own feet made these impressions so much more complete and profound. Thank you to everyone involved in organizing this wonderful journey!
Good evening. Everything went perfectly, top-notch. I fell in love with Kyrgyzstan. I liked absolutely everything. And the food was an absolute feast—it was impossible not to eat, everything was so delicious. Thank you so much, I am truly happy. You have opened up Kyrgyzstan for me.
A huge thank you to the Strannik club for such a great tour! Everything was thought out to the smallest detail. We were always surrounded by attention and care. Everything was perfect! Going on a trip with Strannik was the best decision of my life! I am amazed by the guides' work - they know so much, truly care about their region, and conveyed their love for Lake Baikal in every word. It never felt like they were just doing their job - all the guides put their heart and soul into our tour!
I will definitely recommend traveling with the Strannik club to everyone. And I am already looking into new trips with Strannik myself! I am extremely happy with the tour; it exceeded my expectations! Your team is super! I wish you good luck in all destinations and many happy travelers!!!
Georgia is a picturesque, hospitable, and delicious country. In my opinion, Georgians treat Russians very well. I will cherish vivid memories of two routes at once: 'Big Adventure in Georgia' and 'Georgia in 10 days: from snowy mountains to the seashore'. These itineraries complement each other: the first focuses on the mountains, while the second highlights the vineyard valleys and wine. In both tours, exploring Georgia's natural beauty is seamlessly combined with its culture. And, of course, everything is enhanced by Georgia's bright sunshine, its unique cuisine, and Georgian hospitality. I highly recommend everyone who hasn't been to Georgia to visit. Unforgettable memories are guaranteed!
Our guide, Dana, showed us the best side of Armenia, sharing its history without overloading us with dates and numbers. Instead, we uncovered the soul of the country through meetings and connections with fascinating people, and walks along the old streets of Gyumri and Dilijan. The walks around Dilijan offered breathtaking views of forests, meadows, and the snow-capped peaks of nearby mountains, along with the purest air. A wonderful, childhood-like feeling of joy and delight fills you in places like this. Even the large number of ancient monasteries - Armenia's main sights - became an integral part of the landscape and the country's history. And they weren't tiring at all. The trip left us with the most pleasant impressions. One thing worth noting is that older people or those with joint issues shouldn't just take the word of young, physically fit guides when they say a walk is easy and on a flat road. You do have to walk uphill, scramble over rocks, and go down slopes. This shouldn't stop you; you just need to be prepared for certain difficulties. Armenia's nature deserves pure admiration.
I heartily recommend this tour to everyone. The "Best of Armenia" tour is well-paced: city locations alternate with moderate hiking. Deep gratitude to the Strannik club and our guide, Dana.
I really loved the ethno-tour to Uzbekistan. The well-structured program allowed us to enjoy historical and cultural sights, natural beauty, culinary traditions, and exotic adventures. A wide variety of activities made the trip exciting, memorable, and never boring.
I would especially like to mention our guide, Tatyana - not only for her attentive guidance along the route, but also for her amazing stories about all the places we visited, the country's history, and its cultural and everyday traditions.
The trip to Khiva, the most unique and authentic city on the itinerary, was also impressive. We got lucky with the guide there too - thanks to Mavlyuda for an interesting tour. From an organizational standpoint, everything was precise and on time; the Strannik team was always in touch. So you could truly relax and enjoy the trip.
