You will meet at the airport of Osh and go to the base camp that is situated under Lenin Peak at an altitude of 3,600 m. The journey will take about 5 hours, but the road won’t be boring — you will enjoy impressive views of the Pamirs along the way. The camp with the poetic name Edelweiss Glade is located in a picturesque place among alpine meadows and sparkling glaciers. You will be accommodated in comfortable heated tents, have some rest, and then go for the first walk — to the Lukovaya meadow, which will amaze you with a lot of bright fragrant flowers.
Today you’ll go for a walk to the turquoise Tulpar Kol lake surrounded by flowering meadows and breathtaking views of the snow-covered seven-thousanders. The lake is considered sacred among local residents, so swimming and fishing is not allowed here.
Then you’ll visit real Kyrgyz nomads living in yurts. You’ll get to know their way of life and traditions, see their national costumes and take multiple pictures.
Today you will have an acclimatization hike to the crest of Petrovsky Peak. You will go up to a height of 4,150 m, which offers majestic views of the Alai Valley, the pearls of lakes scattered between the ridges, and the majestic Lenin Peak in all its glory.
You will return to the base camp to have a good rest — you should get ready for the first conquest of the peak that happens tomorrow.
In the morning you’ll leave the Edelweiss Glade and head towards the Solnechny camp at an altitude of 4,400 m. Unnecessary things can be left in the storage room. If you are not ready to carry a backpack on your own, for an extra fee your things can be transported on horseback.
Having overcome the Travelers Pass, you will get to a flat area adjacent to the moraine. You’ll cross the river and continue up the glacier to the moraine, where the camp is located. You will spend two nights in permanent tents surrounded by glaciers.
Today you are going to conquer Yukhin Peak. You’ll leave your backpacks at the camp and go lightly. Standard route to the peak does not require any special skills, but you will need a reserve of strength to overcome some sharp climbs along the way.
After crossing the moraine, you’ll descend into the couloir — a narrow gully on the slope — and climb to the top along it. You’ll have to overcome sections with scree and steep ascents, but at the end of the way you’ll see magnificent views of the Alai Valley and the northern wall of Lenin Peak. An unforgettable sight!
The return trip will follow the same route to the Solnechny camp.
After breakfast you will go back to the base camp. On the way, you’ll see the majestic panoramas of colored mountains and the Land’s End canyon. You will spend the night at the familiar Edelweiss Glade at an altitude of 3,600 m.
In the morning you’ll enjoy the views of snow-white peaks and flowering meadows for the last time and go to Osh by minibus. On the way you’ll overcome two beautiful mountain passes — Taldyk and Chyirchyk.
Upon arrival, you’ll be able to relax and spend time as you like: walk around the city, buy souvenirs for your family or stay at the hotel.
In the morning you’ll have breakfast, then check out of the hotel and head to the airport (transfer is included in the price).

This was my second journey through Kyrgyzstan. Last year we explored the north, around Issyk-Kul. This time - new mountains, completely different, but no less amazing. Enough to make your knees tremble and give you goosebumps.
We spent several days at 3000 meters, managed to acclimatize well, enjoy the lakes, cross our first pass, photograph marmots, and get used to camp life. It also gave us time to prepare - physically and mentally - for a long trek. By the time we reached Travelers’ Pass at 4150 m, our legs were strong, our breathing had improved, and our spirits were high. When we finally crossed it, I didn’t even realize the first part of the journey was behind us. Where there’s an ascent, there’s also a descent - so we tumbled down with relief, giving our legs a break, before heading on toward the Lenin Glacier. The path wasn’t always easy, but under the attentive guidance of our wonderful guide, Ivan Nikolaev, the group of cheerful trekkers handled it all. Personally, the last 3 km before the camp were the hardest of the entire trek. The camp seemed to be right there, in front of us, yet it kept “moving away” as we walked.
What they’ve built at 4000 m is incredible. It’s such hard work to set it all up! Everything was arranged so everyone had space and comfort. I especially liked the board games - chess helped us stay awake after the transition.
And then came the highlight - the ascent of Yukhin Peak. I’d been preparing for six months - running, swimming, even yoga. But when I saw the trail upwards, I wanted to hide and pretend we weren’t supposed to go there. Yet legs carried me forward. Step by step, following Ivan’s boots in front of me. After 3-4 hours of steady climbing, we finally reached a small platform - the last stretch. And there it was, the summit. The panorama took my breath away. Lenin Peak seemed closer, the surrounding mountains opened their crowns to us… pure joy. The descent was a whole separate story. Thanks to the practice on Petrovsky Pass, we were ready - sliding down the scree was both fun and funny.
Back to base camp surprisingly quickly - maybe we had found our rhythm, or maybe the drop in altitude gave us wings. The next day, before the buses, we still had time to rest and explore the Valley of Lakes - a real gift at the end. Just like last year, Kyrgyzstan won me over. A country full of sun, warmth, and kind people. The landscapes are breathtaking. If you want to discover something new, or if you’re ready to “aim for 5000 m,” Yukhin Peak is perfect. Thank you to all the organizers and guides for bringing the mountains closer!
On this journey, you will discover all the splendor of the pristine nature of the Pamirs and see one of the highest peaks of this mountain system — Lenin Peak. You will take a look at high ridges and massive glaciers from the height of Yukhin Peak (5,130 m) and add this conquest to your list of achievements.
Even if you are new to mountaineering, have no doubts: you’ll be able to reach the summits thanks to simple routes and competent acclimatization. All the hikes during the tour will be made without backpacks, with the exception of two days. If you are not ready to carry a backpack, it can be transported to the camp on horseback.
You will spend 6 nights in permanent tents in equipped campsites with toilets, showers, electricity and three meals a day from the chefs. The last night will be at the hotel in Osh.
There is a 10-day version of this program. It provides an opportunity to better adapt to the time zone and altitude. During the additional days, you can explore the city of Osh and visit the Kyrgyz-Ata National Park.
