By noon you’ll arrive in Yekaterinburg and meet your guide at the train station (time zone UTC+5). From there, we will head straight towards the village of Arakul.
If the group wishes, we can stop on the way in Sysert. There, you'll find an unusual art space located on the grounds of an old factory. Here, we can take a short break: grab a bite at one of the cafés and stroll among art installations.
After the stop, we will continue our journey and arrive by evening at a countryside resort near the lake. After checking in, we’ll switch to off-road cars that will take us to the top of Arakul Shikhan. Here, overlooking the lake’s calm waters and the surrounding mountains, we’ll enjoy a cozy gathering with mulled wine and tea.
In the morning, we’ll head to the town of Polevskoy and visit the Severskaya Blast Furnace Museum, where an actual blast furnace has been preserved. Once used for smelting metal for the entire region, it now hosts exhibits on the history of metallurgy.
Next, we’ll visit the spot where Europe and Asia meet—first the geographic border, then the symbolic monument. It’s a perfect opportunity to take a photo standing on two continents at once.
Back in Yekaterinburg, we’ll stop by Uralmash, once a factory-town project. Then we’ll visit the Yeltsin Center—both a museum and cultural space dedicated to the 1990s and the changes of that era.
We’ll end the evening at the observation deck of the Vysotsky skyscraper, with panoramic views of Yekaterinburg lit up at night. Afterwards, we say goodbye to our guide and continue our railway journey.

The museum features houses, structures, and household items from different eras and ethnic groups who lived along Baikal’s shores.
Next stop is Listvyanka. After lunch and hotel check-in, we’ll visit a museum dedicated to Baikal. Those interested can take a cable car up to Chersky Stone, which offers an incredible view of the lake and its shores.
Half the journey is behind us, and just as much lies ahead! We’ll mark this day in Peschanaya Bay. This place is recognized as a natural monument, and we will spend the whole day here. You can swim in the crystal-clear water, sunbathe, and enjoy nature. Don’t forget to bring a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen. Those who wish can climb to Observation Rock — comfortable shoes are recommended for this hike. On the way back, it’s possible to stop at a section of the Circum-Baikal Railway — we’ll walk through one of the old tunnels and view Baikal from its railside shores.
By prior arrangement, the excursion to Peschanaya Bay can be replaced with a trip along the Circum-Baikal Railway. If you prefer this option, please indicate it in your application.
In the evening, both groups return to Irkutsk. Before the night train, we’ll take a stroll through evening Irkutsk.
