In the morning, we’ll explore the city: walk along historic streets, see traditional and modern architecture, visit the harbor, and take in a panoramic view of the capital. After the walk, we’ll enjoy a delicious seafood lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll head out on speedboats to see whales up close—summer in Iceland offers a unique chance to encounter these giants in their natural habitat.
Today we’ll visit some of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders. First stop: the Great Geysir, which regularly shoots jets of steam into the air. Next is Gullfoss, a majestic waterfall with golden mist glistening in the sunlight. The day ends at Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall you can walk behind for a truly immersive experience.
We’ll travel along the southern coast today. At Dyrholaey, towering cliffs form natural arches above the sea. Then on to Reynisfjara’s black sand beaches with basalt columns and sea caves carved by wind and waves. We’ll also stop at a glacier canyon and pass by Katla volcano, still breathing beneath its icy cap.
The day starts with a boat tour through the stunning Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. We’ll sail among massive chunks of ice, then visit the Diamond Beach, where glistening icebergs lie scattered across the black sand. After lunch, we’ll explore a little-known but incredibly beautiful canyon. If time allows, we’ll stop by Skaftafell National Park to see a glacier descending toward the ocean.
We’ll take a ferry to the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago—once a haven for Irish fugitives, now home to scientists, fishermen, and seabirds. We’ll hike up the extinct volcano Eldfell for breathtaking views of neighboring islands and the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. In the evening—relaxation at the villa with a hot tub and grill.
In the morning, we’ll visit a museum dedicated to the island’s dramatic volcanic eruption. Next, we’ll head to a sanctuary where rescued beluga whales now swim freely after years of captivity. Later, we’ll go to cliffs where thousands of puffins nest—adorable seabirds with colorful beaks.
After breakfast, we’ll return to the mainland and head to the Blue Lagoon. The warm, mineral-rich waters surrounded by lava fields are perfect for relaxation and unforgettable photos. On the way, we’ll stop by fresh lava flows from a recent eruption.
A free day. Self-transfer to the airport. Depending on your flight time, you can visit museums or enjoy a relaxed walk through Reykjavik. Highlights include the National Museum of Iceland, the Saga Museum, the Volcano Exhibition, and Perlan—home to an ice cave and panoramic views. Or simply sip a coffee with an Atlantic view.
