We’ll meet at the hotel in Tbilisi in the afternoon (see the details in the "Time and place of the meeting" section). After some rest, we’ll go for the first walk around the city. We will wander along the narrow streets, see the charming houses of the Old Town and look at the colorful evening Tbilisi from the observation point.

Tbilisi is a perfect city for long walks. We will go through the old quarters — Avlabari, Sololaki, Chugureti, — see graceful bridges, fountains, and an amazing architectural mix of old and modern buildings. In the evening we’ll take the cable car up to the Narikala Fortress, the best viewpoint of the city. Evening Tbilisi in magical lights is especially beautiful.

After the walk, you can relax in the sulfur baths that the city is famous for (the tickets are not included).

In the morning we’ll say goodbye to Tbilisi and start off to Kakheti — the most known wine region in Georgia. On the way there, we’ll visit the Bodbe Monastery, where St. Nino, who preached Christianity in Georgia, is buried.

After that we’ll visit Sighnaghi, which is called the city of lovers. It is located in an incredibly picturesque place — on top of a hill — and surrounded by the walls of a medieval fortress. Then, through endless fields with multiple vineyards, we’ll go to Telavi. We’ll stop by one of the village wineries, learn about the process of making wine and see how this noble drink is stored.

In Telavi we’ll check into a hotel. In the evening, you can walk around the city on your own.

We’ll start the day with a walk around Telavi. We’ll see the main symbols of the city: the Batonis Tsikhe fortress, the Palace of King Erekle and the monument in his honor, and a 900-year-old plane tree. We’ll also visit Telavi Historical Museum.

After that we’ll take a road trip around Alazani Valley. Let's start with an excursion to the estate of Alexander Chavchavadze located in Tsinandali village. The estate was built in the 19th century, and that is where the first commercial production of wine in Georgia started.

Next stop is at the Gremi castle, where in the Middle Ages the residence of the Kakhetian kings was located. You can wander along its towers and underground passages to feel the mystical atmosphere of the past. At the end of today’s itinerary we’ll attend a wine tasting at the Graneli winery. We’ll see the famous Kvareli wine cave — about 25,000 bottles of wine are stored here in the depths of the rock.

In the evening we’ll return to Telavi.

In the morning we will leave Telavi and head on to Akhaltsikhe. Before we say goodbye to the beloved Kakheti, let’s look at Alaverdi — an Orthodox monastery, the second highest cathedral in Georgia.

Further, our route will pass through the breathtaking landscapes of the Gombori Pass to the ancient city of Gori. Here we’ll walk along the old streets and visit the landmark of the city — Gori Fortress (Goris Tsikhe), which stands on a rocky hill above the Great Liakhvi River.

From Gori we will continue our way down a picturesque road along the Kura River. Upon arrival in Akhaltsikhe, we’ll check into the hotel. In the evening, you can take a walk around the city.

In the morning we’ll explore the main symbol of Akhaltsikhe — the Rabati fortress. Within the walls of the fortress, built in the 9th century, there are old baths, a mosque, a church, a castle and an underground tunnel. Many buildings were restored as part of a large-scale reconstruction in 2011-2012.

Then we’ll go up the mountain road to get to one of the oldest and well-preserved fortresses of Georgia — Khertvisi. The exact time of its construction remains unspecified, but it is known that even in ancient times there were a city and a fortress here.

The next place we’ll visit is the famous cavetown of Vardzia. This is a large complex of caves, consisting of several hundred rooms, in which churches, chapels, pantries, baths, and living rooms were located in the 12th-13th centuries. To get around the complex, we’ll have to climb hundreds of steps, but the view from above will be worth it.

In the evening we’ll drive to Borjomi, where we’ll check into a hotel and take a short walk around the city.

We’ll start the day with a walking tour around Borjomi. First stop will be at the natural drinking source of a world-famous mineral water, and after that we’ll make time to buy souvenirs. Then, going along the path through the pristine forest, we will reach the Borjomi gorge, where thermal pools with mineral water are hidden in the shade of rocks and trees. Relaxing in the warm waters of the spring is exactly what you need after an active walk (tickets to mineral pools are not included).

After lunch, we’ll have a long drive to Adjara — we are finally going to the coast! The road to Batumi is very beautiful: it winds between the mountains, and at the end of the way we’ll see vast spaces of the Black Sea stretching on the side of the road.

Upon arrival we’ll check into a hotel in Batumi.

In the morning we’ll have a trip to the Batumi Botanical Garden — one of the largest in the world. It occupies an area of 113 hectares and is located on a hill. Batumi skyline and blue waters of the sea are seen from the observation points of the park. About 5,000 plants from all over the world have been collected on the territory of the botanical garden, and we can find flowers blooming here at any time of the year!

From the colorful alleys of the park we’ll walk to the wild beach nearby. Those who wish can sunbathe and swim. And the rest of the day will be dedicated to a big city tour. 

Batumi is a rapidly growing resort with experimental architecture, stunning skyscrapers and squares. From a small town it has turned into the “Singapore of the Black Sea”. The eclectic look of the city will impress anyone: the old buildings of the free port times mix with the eye-catching modern architecture. We will enjoy the warm evening atmosphere with palms illuminated by multi-colored lights, singing fountains and a cozy promenade.

In the morning we’ll take a short walk along the promenade to the seaport area, buy souvenirs, and have a breath of salty air. You can also ride the Argo cable car (for an additional fee) or relax on the beach.

Then you can take a taxi to the airport or return to Tbilisi (the transfer is not included in the price).
