We will stay in 3-4* hotels along the route. We have chosen the most comfortable options near city attractions and in secluded corners of New Zealand to enjoy the beauty of nature without noisy groups of tourists. If you are traveling alone, we can book a single room for you at an additional cost.
We’ll meet at the airport at 11:00 local time. The guide will be waiting for the tourists at the arrival area (more details in the "Place and time of the meeting" section).
In Auckland, we will take a sightseeing tour by car. The city is surrounded by water on all sides, making it a paradise for sea lovers! Its outskirts boast a large number of cozy beaches, perfect for diving, surfing, and excellent fishing. Auckland is also known as the City of Sails because it has the highest number of yachts per capita in the world. We’ll visit Mount Eden, a volcano located right in the center of Auckland, and Mission Bay, a city beach.
By evening, we'll check into the hotel. Rest and free time.
In the morning, we’ll walk through one of the most famous places in New Zealand — Waitomo Caves, also known as the Glowworm Caves. Under its arches, colonies of insects glow in the dark with a bright blue light. It looks absolutely magical, like a starry sky far away from the city.
Then we’ll transfer to Hobbiton, also known as the Shire, The Lord of the Rings trilogy filming location.
The magical world of Middle-earth awaits us! The cozy houses scattered among the green hills and the peacefully grazing sheep add a unique touch to this pastoral landscape. And of course, for fans of the movies and books, this place is full of special charm! At the end of the tour, you’ll be offered a cup of homemade cider at the Green Dragon Inn, where you can sit by the fireplace with a view of the hobbit holes outside the window.
Then we’ll transfer to Rotorua, the real gem of the North Island. Upon arrival, we’ll check into a hotel and explore a Maori cultural show, featuring the indigenous people of New Zealand, along with a traditional dinner.
After breakfast, we will go for a walk around Rotorua. We will visit Te Puya Park, watch kiwi birds, and get acquainted with Maori crafts. And we will also see the largest geyser in New Zealand.
After lunch, we will go to Tongariro, New Zealand's first national park, founded in 1887! This corner of the wild nature is now under the protection of UNESCO.
We’ll embark on a famous 6-kilometer trail that leads to the picturesque Taranaki waterfall! If you don't want to walk the entire long route, you can choose one of the shorter but equally scenic options or see the visitor center.
The landscapes of the national park sometimes appear completely otherworldly, which is why certain parts of The Lord of the Rings trilogy were filmed here.
By evening, we’ll arrive in Wellington, the charming capital of New Zealand. Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Wellington is nestled between the bay and green mountains at the southern tip of the North Island. In the morning, we’ll enjoy a short sightseeing tour by car, visit a lookout point, the Parliament building, and other interesting locations.
The capital city has long carried the reputation as the country's arts center. The locals take pride in having the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, opera companies, theaters, and a large number of galleries located here. The cosmopolitan nature of the city is reflected in its restaurants, which offer cuisines from around the world. Additionally, Wellington boasts over five hundred private funiculars!
After lunch, you’ll have free time to explore the city further. For example, you can walk along the Wellington Botanic Garden, the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, or take a tour of the Weta Workshop, specializing in special effects and animation.
Early in the morning, we depart for the port and head to the South Island!
A three-hour journey across Cook Strait — one of the most beautiful and breathtaking in the world! You’ll witness the incredible emerald slopes, and the crystal-clear ocean surrounding this natural wonder. These lands are part of a UNESCO World Heritage site and form one of the largest national parks in the world! The final third of the journey will take us through the magical Marlborough Sounds and its unparalleled beauty and pristine waters.
The region is rich in beautiful landscapes and wineries (which we will definitely visit), and it is also known for cultivating the famous green-lipped mussels.
Afterward, we'll have a short transfer to the town of Kaikoura, where we will spend the night. In the evening you'll have free time.
Kaikoura is a true center for ecotourism. Thanks to the unique topography of the seabed and the abundance of nutrients, whales and dolphins inhabit the coastal waters, and we’ll have the opportunity to encounter them! We offer two activity options for today:
Please choose the option and inform your tour manager in advance. We would like to emphasize that these activities involve humans visiting the ocean inhabitants and ask you to take good care of them!
Next, we’ll head to the famous city of Christchurch, known as the Garden City due to its countless green streets and parks. We’ll check in at the hotel and relax.
In the morning, we’ll travel to Tekapo, a quiet little town but infinitely picturesque! Here, you will find a lake with blue water surrounded by mountains with snow-capped peaks. This place is considered one of the most photographed spots in all of New Zealand. And the best part is that we’ll stay here overnight to fully enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder.
After dinner, those interested can go on a night tour to the local observatory (for an additional fee). You’ll have the opportunity to admire a blanket of stars and explore the depths of space using telescopes.
Our next object of interest is Mount Cook National Park. Within its vast territory, there are around 30 glaciers! This place truly impresses with its rugged beauty.
There are numerous beautiful trails leading to the glaciers, so you can choose one of the many options, such as the Hooker Valley, and explore the unique natural landmarks at your own pace. Since all the tracks are well-marked and well-equipped, you won't get lost.
Instead of trekking, there is an optional tour available at an additional cost to explore Lake Tasman with its melting icebergs (please inform us in advance).
We’ll then travel to Oamaru, a small town with friendly residents, where we’ll meet a colony of blue penguins — the smallest penguins in the world :) They are most active at night, so it's best to observe them at sunset.
Today, we’ll reach the city of Dunedin, and along the way, explore the beach with the mysterious spherical boulders of Moeraki. Scientists claim that these boulders were formed by nature 65 million years ago.
Located on the Otago Peninsula Dunedin is the second-largest city on the South Island. The place is renowned for its breathtaking coastal landscapes and Victorian architecture.
Check-in at the hotel, free time.
In the morning, we’ll go on a sightseeing tour of Dunedin. Since the city was founded in the 19th century by Scottish gold miners, you’ll find many Victorian-era buildings on its streets. The next point of the program is Baldwin Street, the steepest street in the world, recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records! We’ll take a leisurely stroll along the magnificent city gardens and enjoy the exotic and unfamiliar plants to our eyes then.
Four lunch we'll travel to the town of Te Anau. It's located on the coast of the namesake lake, the largest on the South Island. The views of the lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. An interesting story is associated with it: the takahe bird, inhabiting the forests of Te Anau, was considered extinct from the late 19th century until its nests were rediscovered by scientists in 1948. Since then, the takahe habitats around the lake have been declared a protected area and carefully preserved.
Today, we have a two-hour cruise through the fjords! The road to Milford is like a magical elven forest! Many landscapes can be found on postcards or New Zealand stamps. But the majestic Milford Sound fjords are perhaps the most unforgettable in the entire southern hemisphere. We can confidently call them a masterpiece: here, mountains rise from the water to a height of up to 2000 meters, and the deepest spot reaches almost 400 meters.
In the evening we'll arrive in Queenstown.
Today we will be walking around Queenstown. During the bus tour we will visit the town of gold prospectors, a winery, a cheese factory. We will stop at several viewing platforms. We will see the world's first commercial bungee. New Zealand is considered the birthplace of bungee jumping.
From 10:00 to 13:00, there will be a short sightseeing tour of the Queenstown area. Then you’ll bid farewell to the guide and have some free time.
Everyone has heard of Queenstown as the adventure capital of the world, so everyone can find something they love here! It offers everything for adrenaline enthusiasts: paragliding, kayaking, horseback riding, scooter downhill rides, bungee jumping, and speedboat rides! But it's not just adrenaline that attracts visitors to the city. Don't listen to those who say it's not like New Zealand; it's quite the opposite: it represents all aspects of New Zealand life.
Check-out from the hotel by 10:00. Individual transfer to the airport. Departure home.
The guide will meet you on the first day of the tour at Auckland Airport (AKL) at 11:00, at the arrival area. We’ll have a list of your phone numbers, and you will have our contacts, so we can stay in touch if needed. The meeting time may be adjusted by 30 minutes depending on the tourists' arrival time.
The tour ends on the last day with a flight home from Queenstown (ZQN). If you wish to extend your stay in New Zealand, please inform us when applying, purchasing tickets, and arranging visas.

There is another option — you can take a bus to Auckland or Christchurch and then transfer to a flight home, but this will take more time.

I was also very lucky with the group: a huge greeting to everyone, without exception, and wishes of good luck, health and new bright travels! The trip left me with the most vivid and enthusiastic impressions and regret that it is already behind me :)) I really want to return to my favorite places and see something new!
New Zealand is a unique fairytale world that has it all: volcanoes, geysers, beaches, snow-capped mountains, glaciers, glowing caves, fjords, whales, and penguins. All of nature's best creations are gathered in one place. It seems like just this reason is enough to start planning a visit to the land of kiwis (that's what New Zealanders call themselves)!
We offer a well-balanced itinerary with short transfers, including a maximum number of excursions and all the spectacular locations of both islands. Throughout the entire journey, we travel in our own minibus, in a small group, with a licensed professional guide. During the excursions, you will use a radio headset, freely walk around, and listen to the guide's stories.
Accommodation is planned in 3* and 4* hotels to ensure maximum comfort between transfers and excursions. We carefully select accommodations: in major cities, we choose hotels that are as close as possible to interesting sites, while in remote regions of the country, we opt for the most atmospheric and secluded options.
During the tour we'll see:
...and countless viewpoints and picturesque locations that we don't even include in the description.
